Dan Moore is an Audio & Acoustics Engineer, father of two, and lifelong student. Dan has had an exciting, multi-faceted career, with over ten years’ experience in the live event industry. Dan has engineered for many live acts, composed music for films, managed noise for outdoor music events, helped developments gain planning permission relating to noise, and now works in research.

Dan holds membership with the Audio Engineering Society, and Associate membership with the Institute of Acoustics UK.

Dan's research interests include sound system charaterisation, acoustic metamaterials, waveguides, and event noise exposure.
